Miss Egypt accuses Mr. Lebanon of committing adultery
According to the London daily Elaph, after less than a year of marriage Mr. Lebanon Ghasan Al Mawla and Miss Egypt Amy have divorced.
The couple reported how happy they were to various magazines. Amy talked about how Ghasan stole her heart and took it away with him to Lebanon.
Amy officially filed for a divorce before three weeks. She said that she had suffered psychologically from the man who she has given everything.
"I had to sacrifice throughout our marriage because I had to leave my family behind and move with Ghasan to Lebanon," said Amy.
Her family refused the marriage.
Amy said that after their honeymoon Ghasan became a different person and admitted that he committed adultery.
"He asked if I could live with it, and I could not," said Amy.
Amy and Ghasan had met for the first time at the "Miss Egypt" pageant for which both sat on the panel of judges.
Amy had already started an acting and singing career. As for Ghasan he started in modeling and wanted to become a singer, but was not successful. He participated in one of Carole Samaha's video clips "Tala' Feyeh" (Look At Me).
