High School Musical 3 oiginal sundtrack released
Walt Disney Records release the High School Musical 3 Official Soundtrack on *October 20th ahead of the film's cinematic release on 22nd October. 
Disney's High School Musical phenomenon leaps onto the big screen in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, in which America's favourite high school students (Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman) hit Senior Year. Amidst a basketball championship, prom and a big spring musical featuring all of the Wildcats, Troy and Gabriella vow to make every moment last as their lifelong college dreams put the future of their relationship in question.
A crew of sophomore Wildcats (Matt Prokop, Justin Martin and Britain's own Jemma McKenzie-Brown) join in the fun as the film's incredible new music and exciting dance numbers take maximum advantage of the big screen.
The success of High School Musical is unprecedented - High School Musical 1 and 2 OST's were officially the biggest selling albums in the world in 2006 and 2007 respectively. Both albums (including singalongs and live versions) sold over 14 million units - over 2 million in the UK alone. High School Musical 3 - Senior Year - released in cinemas for the first time - is on course to be even bigger and break records across the board.
For the first time, a CD and music DVD special edition will be released simultaneously with the standard edition. The special edition offers the standard OST CD plus an additional DVD disc containing over 35 minutes of exclusive behind the scenes content. The UK version of the album contains a bonus track 'The Boys Are Back' (US5 version)
