"Al Thafrah" music channel launched
A number of stars and well-known journalists came from Lebanon and the Arab World for the opening of "Al Thafra" musical station. 
According to the London daily Elaph, the executive manager of the station, Ropier Mekhayel, chief officer Dawood Al Jafal, and the director Basem Cristo were on hand for the celebration.
Artists under the production company 'Rotana' attended the celebration, like Egyptian singer Angham, Lebanese artist May Hijazi came and her husband Raja Qasabani, and the artist Basmah. Manager of art affairs at 'Rotana' Toni Saman and Mousa Mahmoud were also at the celebration.
The Lebanese artists Nancy Ajram and Fadel Shaker performed at the event, although pictures were prohibited.
