Akteb makateeb, arsel worood.......

Who could forget the Lyrics to one of Jad Shwairi's first ridiculous songs, Ah the poetry!!... Jad came on the scene thinking he was so original with bad dance moves, a voice that even Haifa would be ashamed of; All he did in many households was invoke complete laughter.

Well the other day I stumbled on a video featuring a new Jad, named Modi or Moodi. I would not have a clue as to Modi what, I am hazarding a guess in that he calls himself Modi only as in Cher or Madonna.

Modi is as feminine as our dear Jad is, with an even worse hair style - Anyone living in Australia can recall our famous journalist Ray Martin's wig with extra gel and that is his hair - and a nose job to match; Modi is a new singer who hails from Jordan, precisely half Jordanian and half Thpansih ( spanish) as he thays (says) it. Needless to say that in comparing him to Jad, I am stressing the point that the dude has no talent whatsoever.

We in the Arab world really do have to wonder what has become of us, that anyone thinks they can have a shot at stardom, lacking even an ounce of talent. Pfft it is so frustrating and annoying, the lack of talent coupled with complete lack of shame displayed on our Television these days.

In the off-chance that anyone here is a fan of either Jad or Modi, thus experiencing stomach pains, feeling hysterical and ready to accuse me of blind jealousy or hatred as many of you do all the time when someone criticizes your favourite mostly non-talented artist, I would recommend fresh air. Many would suggest taking a chill pill but I would not advice such pills as it could be IBS aggravated by a written assault on your star :P...

You can watch a video of Moodi talking to the press and singing here
