Jordanian king urges Israel not to launch Gaza raidJordan's King Abdullah has held secret talks with Israeli leaders in Amman and asked them to refrain from a large-scale incursion into the Gaza Strip, Israeli press reports said on Thursday. Israel Radio said an official source confirmed Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Defence Minister Ehud Barak travelled secretly to Jordan where Abdullah told them he was concerned such violence could cause trouble for Jordan.
