El-Ahly do double over Young Africans, qualify for 16th round

By: Mohammad Gebreel - Egyptian champions EL-Ahly eased to qualify for the 16th round of the African Champions League (ACL) with a 1-0 victory over Tanzanian outfit Young Africans FC on Saturday.

The ACL sixth-time winners did not reckon on the first leg 3-0 victory at home and sealed the qualification with 4-0 aggregate win.

The defending champions faced no trouble at the very beginning as Angolan hitman Flavio Amado found the way to the home side net after he converted Mohamed Abo Terika pass to the right corner 6 minutes from the kickoff whistle.

The Red Devils continued their pressure taking advantage from opponents' ineffectiveness.

The guests almost doubled the score by midfielder ace Terika but the latter caught offside.

Manuel Jose men tried to add more to the score sheet but were unable to find a second goal till the final whistle.
