MADRID (Reuters) - Valencia midfielder David Silva has been ruled out for two to three weeks with a muscle injury in his right leg, the Primera Liga club said their website (www.valenciacf.com) on Tuesday .
Losing the influential Spain international with three matches left is a blow to Valencia, who are chasing a Champions League place for next season.
They are fourth in the standings, four points behind third-placed Sevilla, and one ahead of fifth-placed Atletico Madrid, whom they visit on Sunday.
