Bokeer might leave El-Wehda, Abdel Fadil's deal doubtful

By: Sherif Tarek - German tactician Theo Bokeer will most probably leave Saudi Arabia's El-Wehda after getting into disputes with the club's board, said his assistant Mahmoud Gaber.

The Egyptian assistant coach was quoted as saying the Saudi side might not sign Ismaili defenders Sherif Abdel Fadil as a result of the disagreements between Bokeer and the club officials.

"The deal will either be canceled or postponed due to Bokee's tense relationship with the club" Gaber told El-Watan.

Abdel Fadil, on the other hand, stated to the Saudi newspaper that his contract with the Dervishes includes a release clause of € 650,000, which allows him to depart.

"Bokeer phoned me up more than once to reaffirm his intention to land me, but I was told the recently-emerged conflicts between him and the club might urge the latter to relieve the technical staff of its duty, which would definitely hamper my move".

Bokeer had coached the coastal club before moving to Saudi Arabia, and resigned after getting fed up with the intervention of the board members in his job.
